WHAT WILL EDUCATION LOOK LIKE IN 2030?

We are in the year 2030 and our government, corporations and civil society have all learned to work closely together to address the important changes that have occurred. Some of these changes include robotics and Artificial Intelligence. Although initially causing significant disruption and loss of employment for a large portion of the workforce, they have reduced the cost of goods and services. In addition, they have allowed humans to once again focus on creation and innovation requiring new skills.

Research Symposium!

All interested academic and professional researchers and educators are invited to submit abstracts (300 words) to be considered for presentation and possible publication at the Annual Atlantic Education Summit being held in Moncton, New Brunswick, June 24 – 25, 2020. The last day of submissions is May 15, 2020. This bilingual summit is a celebration of innovations in educational technology and effective teaching/learning strategies and is open to researchers, educators, students, parents, Department of Education employees, employers, and educational entrepreneurs and administrators from Atlantic Canada and beyond. More specifically, your contribution would be related to the central question of the Summit regarding one of the following topics:

STEAM Education
Deep Learning/Global Competencies
21st Century School Design
Healthy Living and Community Engagement
