Atlantic Innovative Educator Award
This year, the Atlantic Education Summit is proud to announce the “2020 Atlantic Innovative Educator Award”. We know that the Atlantic provinces are full of educators like you who innovate in teaching practices, and we are looking for teachers like you to apply for this award at the Atlantic Education Summit.
We ask you to submit a 2 minute video of demonstrating how you are innovating your classroom in order prepare your students for the world of the age of acceleration. Go ahead, impress us!
A total of 6 finalist teachers (3 Francophone and 3 Anglophone) will be selected to demonstrate why they should be crowned the Atlantic Innovative Educator. The finalists will present in three minutes live at the summit on June 26th. The participants will then choose the winners (one French and one English) of the award.
The 2020 Atlantic Innovative Educator Award winner will take leave with a Distance Learning Kit composed of a document camera, Webcam, Waycom tablet and more to support teacher innovative practices.
Video Criteria:
- Applicant must be teaching at a public K-12 school.
- Applicant must be visible in the video.
- Showcase of how tools and innovative practices are implemented
Applicants submissions will be from May 28 to June 12, 2020.
